I Wanna Lose!

I have a theory about weight loss…
…after many years at Weight Watchers. I believe you have to shake up what you are doing otherwise your body will adapt to your weight loss plan. If you eat the same amount of food everyday, at the same time, your body (being the smart engine) will function as efficient as possible without exerting any excess effort to utilize the fuel. You have to change the amounts up so that you are challenging you body and forcing it to burn calories less efficiently (it can’t prepare for what it doesn’t know is coming).

I heard about the Wendy Plan at a Weight Watchers meeting. The Wendy Plan looks like this:

Regular Plan:
22 points everyday (with 35 flexpoints to use throughout the week)

Wendy Plan:
Differing amount of points each day planning the use of the extra 35 points.
Day 1 – 24 points
Day 2 – 32 points
Day 3 – 27 points
Day 4 – 22 points
Day 5 – 30 points
Day 6 – 25 points
Day 7 – 29 points

You are consciously changing up the quantity of food you eat every day. Think about everyday of your life. However, remember that just as you have high days, you must have low days. Successful weight loss requires variety. Bon a petit!
