Weight Loss and Working Out
Think about all of the times you have tried to lose weight in your life. Didn't it all go better when you both lose weight and work out concurrently? Studies show that people who eat less and work out lose more weight and keep it off longer than those who just eat less.
I am doing better at eating more of the right foods (particularly those that DO NOT contain high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil) with fewer additives. However, over the last few months I have diligently added circuit training and swimming laps. I have not lost weight, however, I have firmed up. I can't tell it so much but my masseuse and my husband insist that they can see more muscle tone (maybe I was flabbier than I thought).
This has all made me realize that working out is important in how your body shapes up. Surely, you know people that are slim but flabby. If and when I do actually lose the weight, I believe I will be somewhat toned and muscular!!
